Best project in sustainable adventure leisure

The awards “Ser Joven y Vivir en Extremadura” “Young and living in Extremadura” were given by Fernadez Vara president of the Junta de Extremadura to promote the entrepreneurship.

President of the Junta de Extremadura, Guillermo Fernandéz Vara, gave in Mérida the awards “Ser Joven y Vivir en Extremadura” “Young and living in Extremadura”. The president gave emphasis that this recognition puts in value the Young entrepreneurs that take risks. He focused on the idea that not only there has to be more initiatives like these but that the institutions must also promote this entrepreneurship in order to develop the region.

“Territorio 10”

The awards arise from an initiative Territorio 10 promoted by the “Gabinete de Iniciativa Joven” and the Rural Network “ Red Extremeña de Desarrollo Rural” in an attempt to develop the rural areas of Extremadura.
Finally 25 projects of more than 200 reach the final oral interviews of which 13 were finally selected. One first prize, 4 second prizes, 5 third prizes. The special mention of the jury was given to PURAVERA for the Best project in sustainable adventure leisure, while the most implicated local action group was for Fedesiba, and other special mention to Teodovino project.

In the closing ceremony of Territorio 10 and during the awards, the jurys present include President of the Junta de Extremadura, the Young and Sports Adviser, Carlos Javier Rodríguez Jiménez, the CEO of the Gabinete de Iniciativa Joven, Juan Pablo Venero and the President of REDEX, Aurelio García Bermúdez, among others.
